Admired in Africa Overall Winner 2016

Welcome to my Admired in Africa page.
I am a Durban based photographer and artist who has successfully turned my passion of creating and capturing pictures into a career. Whether I am elbow deep in paint in my art studio or up a tree behind the lens I am as happy as can be.
When it comes to my Fine Art work I love making mixed media pieces and have had a number of exhibitions to date. As far as photography goes, I adore photographing people and telling stories through pictures and enjoy being able to combine my creative fine art background with a sound technical element.
After completing a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art at the University of Cape Town (Michealis) I spent a few years travelling the globe. Once back I finished a National Diploma in Photography at the Durban University of Technology.
More recently I have been profiled on South Africa’s number one lifestyle TV show Top Billing, nominated a finalist in the Nikon Africa Photographic Awards being judged in August 2010 and was included in the book Women on Women, A History of Women Photographers in South Africa.
